Terms of Sale
Last updated 8 October 2026
These terms apply when you buy a product or service from orangedata.co.uk. Please read them before you buy. If you are buying as a consumer, nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.
1. About us
Orange Data Co. is a trading name of Shades of Bee Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 11803969. Our registered office is at 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom. Contact us at hello@orangedata.co.uk.
2. What we sell
- Digital products: the SME AI Risk Assessment Workbook, the AI Governance Policy Pack and the Bundle of both. These include online tools and downloadable Word and PDF files.
- Services: the Results Review call and AI Risk Assessed Certification. Both include the Workbook and Policy Pack.
- Subscription: the Annual Governance Review.
Each product page describes what is included. Our products give general guidance on AI governance. They are not legal advice and do not replace advice from a qualified legal or data protection professional.
3. Prices and payment
Prices are in pounds sterling and are shown on each product page. Prices include VAT. Our VAT number is 317106043. Payment is taken by Stripe when you order. Your contract with us starts when your payment is confirmed.
4. Delivery and access
You get access straight after payment, on your order page and by email. Download links on the order page work for 7 days, and the link in your email lets you return to your order page for new ones. Access to the online tools is through a personal link: please keep it to your business.
5. Your licence
You may use our products within one business, including its staff and contractors. You may edit the Policy Pack documents, issue them to your team and publish your Governance Statement. You may not resell, share or publish the Workbook, the templates or the online tools, or present them as your own product. Copyright in our products stays with Orange Data Co.

Consumers buying digital content: you normally have 14 days to cancel. By asking for immediate access to digital content when you buy, you agree that this cancellation right ends once access begins. The guarantees above still apply.
Consumers buying a service: you have 14 days from purchase to cancel. If you ask us to start within that time, for example by booking a call or submitting for certification, we may deduct the value of what we have already provided.
7. Certification
- A certificate is valid for 12 months from the date of issue. It reflects the information you submitted at that time, and you are responsible for that information being accurate.
- You may display the badge only while your certificate is valid, and it should link to your verification page. The live badge changes automatically when a certificate expires or is withdrawn.
- We may withdraw a certificate if the information submitted was materially false or misleading, if a condition is not resolved by its due date, or if the badge is used in a misleading way.
- AI Risk Assessed certification confirms that a business completed a structured AI risk assessment and met our published minimum standards at the date of issue. It is not legal advice, a guarantee of compliance with any law, or an accreditation by UKAS or any regulator.
8. Annual Governance Review
The subscription renews automatically each year at the price shown when you subscribed, until you cancel. We will remind you by email before each renewal. To cancel, email hello@orangedata.co.uk or use the link in your Stripe receipt.
9. Our responsibility to you
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law. If you buy as a business, our total liability to you is limited to the price you paid, and we are not liable for indirect loss, loss of profit or regulatory fines. If you buy as a consumer, we are responsible for loss you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms.
10. Your information
Our Privacy Policy explains how we use your personal data.
11. Changes and law
We may update these terms. The version in force when you bought applies to that purchase. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the UK, you may also bring proceedings where you live.
